Getting Started:
Organising Your First Clean
1. Call, SMS or Email for an Estimate
To get started with routine cleaning, we invite you to book a face-to-face walk-through with our founder, Ali. She will take a closer look at your home and find out where we can help make things easier for you.
2. Choose Frequency
Choosing a cleaning maintenance cycle that suits your lifestyle, activity, pets and occupants is important.
We offer weekly or fortnightly cleaning cycles.
Please Note: All routine cleans start with a ‘Deep Clean’. This is due to the build up that inevitably occurs over time – like hardwater scale on shower screens and oil build up in kitchens. Deep cleans are typically between 4 hours and 10 hours, depending on the size of your home and its occupants. The most common Deep Clean is 4.5hrs (average 2 bathroom home, 4 occupants).
3. Book ‘Initial Deep Clean’
The first clean naturally takes the longest, and if your home hasn’t been cleaned professionally for over 3 weeks it will inevitably take longer than any regular routine clean.
An ‘Initial Deep Clean’ allows us to bring the home up to standard before ongoing maintenance commences. We attack build up that other services may have missed or couldn’t remove. You’ll be surprised by the transformation.
For working out an estimated time for the initial clean, for every bathroom allow 75mins for your initial clean – especially if you have hard water scale on your shower glass, taps and tiles – that build up will need to be scrubbed down and treated with specialised products and tools.
Also allow around 45min – 60mins for flooring to be vacuumed and mopped. If you have glossy tiles or unique surfaces the time may be longer still for that first time clean. These are only estimates because all homes are different.
4. Ongoing Maintenance

Working out the length of your regular clean will depend on factors mentioned above, but also what is achieved in the first visit depending on what time is allowed.
As a rough guide, use this scenario.
Deep Clean – Time Example: 2 bath, 3 Bedroom Home
Bathroom One: 45 – 75 mins
Bathroom Two: 45 – 75 mins
Kitchen: 45 – 60 mins
Dusting: 20 – 45 mins
Floors: 45 – 60 mins
Note: Factors like pets, number of kids, build up and time since last professional clean will affect cleaning time.
Estimated Man-Hours (for One Cleaner): 3 hrs 20 mins to 5 hrs 15 mins
If Two Cleaners Attend: The man-hours are the same, but the actual time-of-day spent inside the home is halved. If three cleaners attend, it’s divided by three.
